MaCon is implemented using Java, JavaFX, and JBullet. For development, we use Apache Maven and Eclipse, but any other Java IDE can be used as well. Internally, MaCon comprises five modules: The core, the model, the syntax checker, the semantics checker (or simulation engine), and the workbench. The workbench includes the previous four modules and adds a graphical user interface.
In the coming months we plan to prepare some more YouTube videos explaining other parts of MaCon. For example, we are working on a tutorial explaining the development of an entire self-contained and consistent manufacturing systems model. Furthermore, we want to present advanced features such as live multi-user synchronization or engineering work flow analysis. Let us know whether you like the tool and what you would like to know about the tool! Cheers.
