The video shows a control strategy for 25 households including their refrigerators. The strategy is selected according to a weather scenario, in particular considering available sun energy. The visualization uses WebGL and SceneJS for 3D rendering and Google Charts for the diagrams.
In the future we plan to extend our tool chain and develop a more realistic model of EnergyCity. The testbed also will be used in a practical course at university to teach students about the smart grid, model-driven engineering and distributed control. As soon as we have a stable version ready we plan to release the models and tools for others.
