Second report on smart grid simualtion.

The screenshot shows the simualtion results for a system configuration. The system configuration includes a single low-voltage net with ten households, two wind farms and two solar plant. The households are further decomposed into five lamps, one refrigerator and one electric power storage. The time axis shows the component states in sequential order.

Currently, all devices in the system are switched off by default. However, the mid-term goal is to develop smart algorithms that control the devices. Smartness refers to the ability to keep the electric power system in balance while meeting user requirements. The current system configuration serves as a virtual testbed for evaluating smart control approaches.
