WebStream Readme

WebStream is a PHP/JavaScript package for creating a web based distributed event bus infrastructure. This infrastructure allows your web site visitors to communicate live through your web site, as for example known from the GMail web application.

Files

The following files are contained in this software package:

• client.php
  Chat interface (shown in the YouTube video).
• channel.php
  Retrieves the most recent events from the event queue.
• channel.xml
  The event queue as saved to the disk.
• post.php
  Adds a new event to the event queue.
